## Frequently asked questions

### How do I book a consultation?

Choose a time on the booking page and settle the consultation fee. Consultation fees are payable before the consultation, and your proof of payment confirms the booking.

### What does a consultation cost?

A consultation is R350, whatever you need it for. A sick note consultation and a follow-up are R350 too, because each one is a consultation: the note, the script, the referral or the lab request is issued out of it rather than charged on top of it. A repeat prescription is R200, and corporate consultations are R750. A medical report is a further R500, charged after the consultation rather than instead of it.

### What do I need to send before my appointment?

Your full name, age, main concern or symptoms, current medication, any allergies, pre-existing conditions, surgical history, and your proof of payment.

### Can I get a sick note or prescription?

Yes. Official sick notes, medical certificates, prescriptions, referral letters and laboratory requests are all issued digitally after your consultation.

### Do you work with medical aids?

We work with Discovery, Bonitas Medical Fund, CAMAF Medical Scheme, Momentum Medical Scheme, Medihelp and BestMed Medical Scheme.

### Is my information kept private?

Yes. Your health information is treated as confidential and handled securely. Privacy is central to how the practice operates.

### What is not suitable for a telemedicine consultation?

Emergencies including chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, stroke symptoms, seizures, uncontrolled bleeding, severe abdominal pain, severe dehydration, loss of consciousness and severe allergic reactions. Go to your nearest emergency department or call emergency services.
